This Potato & Mozzarella sticks are just perfect in any way, I can’t find words to describe how good this mix of Persian mashed potato and Italian mozzarella sticks tastes. On top of all that they are very easy to make and they are free of fat. 1 Russet Potato
3 Mozzarella Sticks
2 Garlic Cloves
2 Tbsp Olive Oil
Start by peeling and chopping the carrots and potatoes. If the mozzarella is a bigger piece slice it to the preferred size. Put the diced carrots and potatoes in a pot, add water to cover them and some salt. Place the pot covered on medium heat for 30 minutes or check if is the ingredients are soft and ready to take them out. Dice the onion and fry it on olive oil to be golden. Mash the garlic stirring and fry them together with onion for few more minutes. Drain potatoes and carrots and mash with fried onions. In a fist full of mashed potatoes place the mozzarella sticks and wrap them one by one. Put them in a greased pan and broil in the oven for 3 to 5 minutes on high temperature, until golden.
