For everyone that loves fried-dough pastry this Churros Recipe will be something that you will love. Absolutely delicious and easy to make Churros that you can enjoy in any occasion. This fantastic snack is very popular in Europe and manly in Spain and Portugal where is usually served for breakfast along with coffee and sometimes chocolate. Personally I prefer them with cheese, they are really awesome snack throughout the whole day.
1 Cup All-Purpose Flour
4 Tbsp (2 oz / 57g) Unsalted Butter
1/4 Cup Sugar
1 Tsp Cinnamon Powder
1/4 Tsp Vanilla Extract
1/8 Tsp Salt
Pour half cup water into a one pot.
Add 2 oz of unsalted butter and a pinch of salt.
While you are stirring, heat the ingredients until all butter is melted on medium heat.
Turn of the heat and stir in the flour in the pot.
Add 1/4 Tsp vanilla to the batter and continue with stirring.
Transfer the batter to a bowl and continue to stir until the batter cools down completely.
Stir in one egg in the bowl
Transfer the batter to a pastry bag.
Preheat your vegetable oil and deep fry your churros.
In a separate container, combine 1/4 cup of sugar and 1 Tsp cinnamon powder.
Dip the churros into the mixture of sugar and cinnamon and serve.
