Another fantastic recipe from Chef John for Chicken Parm Casserole. Absolutely delicious Chicken Parmesan Recipe that it’s a little bit different from what I’m use to, but believe me, this recipe is just perfect. If you are a Chicken Parm lover, then you must try this creation. The crispy crust on outside and the tender and moist inside…Perfection. It may take another go to the store but don’t forget to use panko bread crumbs, it definitely makes a difference. Another point that I have learned through the years is the size matters, so make sure that the thickness of your chicken breasts is around 1/2-inch in size. Always choose olive oil over sunflower oil when pre cooking and cooking your chicken breasts. 6 medium size boneless skinless chicken breasts
2 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, crushed
hot red pepper flakes, to taste
2 cups marinara sauce
1/4 cup chopped basil
8 oz shredded mozzarella
4 oz of grated Parmesan
1 (5-oz) package garlic croutons
Note: Your cooking time may be different depending on the size and shape of your chicken breasts. Use meat thermometer to check doneness, temperature should be 155 degree F.
