6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
6 slices Swiss cheese
6 slices ham
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon paprika
6 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup dry white wine
1 teaspoon chicken bouillon granules
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 cup heavy whipping cream
Prepare the skinless, boneless halves of chicken breast by pounding them to make thinner, but first cover them with plastic foil. On each breast half plase a slice of ham and Swiss cheese. Roll them, fold the edges of the chicken and secure with toothpicks. In a small bowl, mix flour and red paprika and coat the chicken pieces with it. In a large skillet over medium high heat, heat the butter (or olive oil if you prefer).Cook the chicken turning them on each side until golden brown. Add 1/2 cup of dry white wine and 1 chicken bouillon and leave it covered to simmer for 30 minutes on low heat, or until juices run clear and chicken is no longer pink.
Transfer the chicken to a warm platter and carefully remove the toothpicks. In a small bowl blend the cornstarch with 1 cup of heavy whipping cream adding it slowly into the skillet and stir until thickened. Pour this sauce over all chicken pieces. Serve it warm and enjoy your meal!
